Good Bye 4th Grade

1 thing I liked in 4th grade is math class because I had a nice math teacher and she taught me things that I didn’t know about math.

1 thing I learned in 4th grade is division and how to multiply fractions with different strategies.

1 thing I should warn you about is not to chew anything in the classroom, and if you lie to the teachers you will get a mark, and don’t talk during class unless you are allowed to talk.

Cornflower/Bachelor’s Button’s

The cornflower or Bachelor’s Button’s scientific classification is Asteraceae the scientific name is Cenautrea cyanus.  The cornflower is all over Texas and all over the United States.  The cornflower’s leaves are covered with small white hairs, the original color was blue.  The blooming time is March-May.  The cornflower can grow to 2-3 feet tall.  The cornflower can be used for roadsides, vacant lots, borders, and flower gardens.  There are 2 interesting facts about the cornflower plant, they are multi-stemmed, and there are more colors now in white, pink, and red. I have some cornflower in my garden at school.  We love Texas wild flowers!
