Life in 5th Grade

5th grade is fun and hard at the same time, and there are a lot of rules so be careful with what you do.

All the teachers are fun, and their are 5 teachers my all time favorite teacher is Mr.McBride, he is the Science teacher and I love science.

What I’m looking forward to this year is choir, ukulele, and science class.

I also want to pass every class, with A’s and B’s.

I’m really looking forward to the Science STARR and the Math STARR, and I want to get Masters on all of them though.

Good Bye 4th Grade

1 thing I liked in 4th grade is math class because I had a nice math teacher and she taught me things that I didn’t know about math.

1 thing I learned in 4th grade is division and how to multiply fractions with different strategies.

1 thing I should warn you about is not to chew anything in the classroom, and if you lie to the teachers you will get a mark, and don’t talk during class unless you are allowed to talk.

Cornflower/Bachelor’s Button’s

The cornflower or Bachelor’s Button’s scientific classification is Asteraceae the scientific name is Cenautrea cyanus.  The cornflower is all over Texas and all over the United States.  The cornflower’s leaves are covered with small white hairs, the original color was blue.  The blooming time is March-May.  The cornflower can grow to 2-3 feet tall.  The cornflower can be used for roadsides, vacant lots, borders, and flower gardens.  There are 2 interesting facts about the cornflower plant, they are multi-stemmed, and there are more colors now in white, pink, and red. I have some cornflower in my garden at school.  We love Texas wild flowers!

Expository

In my free time I like to play softball and when I play softball I feel like it’s important to me because I’ve played since I was seven and I’ve gotten better and better.

How I play softball is easy, mostly because I listen to the coach. When I get to the field I practice with my teammates. Then I run around the bases to get my legs warmed up, whenever I’m out breath I drink water. After that, I like play and a real game so I play with my teammates, we pitch first and they hit the ball and we catch the it so they are out.

Every time we are on the field, I’m either 2nd or out field , I can be anywhere in the out field. Once when my coach sent me out to out field in practice I had to do every position in out field! My dream position is pitcher or catcher, I really want to be catcher because they get to see the whole field. When I’m 2nd basemen I hav

Personal Narrative

  •      I was ready to ride with my dad. I almost knocked the bike over.                           A few weeks ago, my dad ordered an attachment to his bike. That attachment let me ride the bike back of the bike. I don’t stand on it I sit on it. So I got on the bike and helped him peddle. So when we went down the hill we went super fast it was a whole lot faster ,and it was fun! We were cruising on the road and it was fun! I felt good when we went super fast because it cooled us down. Next, we went home we weren’t far because we went through the neibor good. So later, I had to drink a lot of water because I was very sweaty, out of breath , and dehighdrated. After, that we sat down and took a break ,but then I wanted to ride again. So after, we played a round of Splatoon we rode again. Finally, we came home and my step-mom was home cooking for me, my sister, my step-brother, my dad, and herself. while I told them how fun it was riding with my dad.                                      I will never forget the time I rode my bike with my dad.
